Upon the completion of my first novel, Ms. Linda Lycett was recommended to me as a competent and reliable editor by Sid Harta Publishers, Temple House Pty. Ltd. Victoria. Ms. Lycett responded promptly to my emails inquiring about the procedures involved in editing a manuscript of 98,000 words. Her friendly approach and encouraging communications saw the initial editing complete within two months. The fine tuning of the manuscript took place in my home where, together, we scrutinised the work page by page. Two weeks later the finished manuscript was forwarded to the publisher for final approval. The ensuing novel, "Encounter" was published in 2007. Throughout the editing process I found Ms. Lycett to be professional in her attitude and extremely thorough in her work ethic. I can recommend her skills to any author wishing to have their work reviewed or edited.

“An Easy Handbook for Life”
I first contacted Linda through contributing to her online women's wellbeing magazine Brandlady.com. I realized she empathized with my style of writing so I asked her to edit my first book “An Easy Handbook for Life”. She read the book and commented on the style and content which I needed this being my first book. She then went into each chapter paragraph by paragraph and changed and altered the writing so it was clearer and easier to read. I had often repeated myself, not even realizing it which Linda spotted and altered. She made changes and suggestions, always keeping me consulted every step of the way.
She added to all of this by suggesting and creating a web page for me, which I always get commented upon through my guest book. I love the cover which we decided on and that will be my basic cover design for my next two books as well. She also added the book to my website after formatting into a PDF ebook.
I would unreservedly recommend Linda for an objective viewpoint of your work and for making the necessary changes that always need to be done.
